Before Buddy Pegs, bike riding was stressful. I was always afraid that my son was going to go careening into the traffic, or fall off his bike and get hurt. It was also not very fun for me, because I'd have to stop what I was doing and get off my bike to help push him up hills.
Enter Buddy Pegs. Within one session, my son had ditched the training wheels and was balancing on his own. By week two, he was able to pedal and ride all by himself. Within just a few classes, he had developed from a wobbly, unsteady rider who couldn't make it up a sloped sidewalk into someone with an aptitude for mountain biking! I was amazed at how quickly this transformation took place.
I love to spend time outdoors together as a family, and even though my kids are small, I want them to be able to fully participate in that with me. With just a few weeks of Buddy Pegs, my son went from a passenger on the back of the bike to a rider alongside me.
Before the lessons I knew she could do it but there was some sort of disconnect. She would take a few pedal strokes and then just put the bike down without having much fun.
It was incredible to see how quickly she not only learned to ride but developed a true love for it after only one lesson.
Now she wants to ride her bike all the time!
